Meghin Williams
Meghin Williams is the first Cal Women’s Basketball General Manager.
In this role, she works closely with Cal Women’s Basketball Coach Charmin Smith and the coaching staff to ensure the program remains competitive both on and off the court, in today’s evolving landscape of collegiate athletics. Her areas of focus include revenue growth, roster-building strategies, overall program operations and the holistic development of student-athletes.
Williams brings more than a decade of leadership experience, having played a vital role in the success of high-level Division 1 programs, including Virginia Tech, North Carolina and Princeton. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, she helped the Cornhuskers to 2 NCAA Sweet 16 appearances during her playing career.
The Cal Women’s Basketball Team finished the 25/26 season 21-15 overall, with much room for optimism going forward. The team advanced to the quarter finals of the Women’s Basketball Invitation tournament and during the season, showed it can compete against some of the top teams in the country. The Bears will return a majority of their starting core and feature a proven transfer class and freshman who are among the best up and coming players.
